These terms and conditions apply to StageAhead Theatre School Classes given to students, applied for and consented to by the parent or guardian (referred to hereinafter as “student”). Changes to these terms and conditions require the written consent of StageAhead Theatre School Ltd.
Course times and fees are outlined on our website stageahead.com and have been made clear to parents at the signing up stage. If clarity is needed as to when classes start then please either refer to the website and relevant Stage Group, or ask the Principal. An application will only be deemed to have been accepted if accompanied by the payment/transfer of the first term. Receipt of the application and any deposit or fees paid at the time of application will be confirmed in writing along with all relevant course details.
Fees are paid in advance at the beginning of each term. The student cannot start paid classes unless the term fee has been cleared. The initial and all payments can be made in cash, BACS or cheque (cheques must have cleared prior to student starting class.) Following that, all subsequent term fees must be paid in full to StageAhead Theatre School Ltd at the beginning of term. Fees are payable at the beginning of the term to which they relate. If you fail to make a payment. In the event where a student is absent you cannot request money back. If a student is going away in the term period, you are to inform the Principal when term fees are due and this will be deducted from your term fee. This will not be the case if the term has already been discounted for another offer. Fees are calculated based on 36 classes a year with an average of 12 classes per term. Therefore some terms may have less or more than 12 classes but the year will always equate to 36 classes.
Class takes place once a week. The term dates for the following term will be made known in writing at the end of each term.
Where a student is attending any course for the first time they receive a free trial session unless they have already attended an open day. All terms and conditions must be signed before the students first paid class.
All students are signed up for one term at a time.
You will be told when term fees are next due. (usually at the end of last term)
StageAhead requires one months’ notice for cancellation. In that case the contract will expire on the last day of the notice period. Termination will only be accepted when received by in writing dated clearly.
